Take care of your gloves! Wax the leather regularly with grease, such as leather balm. Lightly dampen the leather, then rub the leather balm into the leather with a cleaning cloth until the balm is absorbed in.
Or
You can also put on the gloves on your hand and add the leather balm to the other palm and rub the gloves against each other as if washing your hands. Do this in the evening, allowing the fat to be absorbed overnight. Dry the gloves at room temperature, but not near an open flame or radiator, and not in the oven. High temperatures weaken the leather. Waxing and using the gloves will give you a beautiful patina over time.
