This is human-powered backcountry skiing at its finest. No lifts, no rotor wash—just your skins, tested gear, and the dynamic peaks of Northern Norway rising directly from the Arctic fjords. Kvaløya and the Lyngen Alps offer some of the most dramatic and rewarding ski terrain on the planet.
We don’t operate on rigid, pre-packaged itineraries. The mountains and the conditions dictate our movement. Every morning, our guide evaluates the weather, snowpack stability, and coastal winds to select the safest and most optimal objectives for the day. Expect to earn your turns with 800 to 1,200 meters of daily vertical ascent, rewarded by long, sustained descents straight down to the shoreline.
HOW IT WORKS
We keep the logistics flexible to focus strictly on the skiing and safety. The trip fee covers daily professional guiding and all local transportation to the trailheads. You book your own accommodation in Tromsø—whether you prefer a practical apartment or a comfortable downtown hotel. We pick the team up from your doorstep each morning, hunt the best snow, and return to the city by evening.
